Welcome Back Michelle Sutton

Welcome back to the Book Loft, Michelle.
Is there a story behind When Love Collides?

I guess you could say that. When I was in college I hung out with a guy named Scott who went to college in the neighboring town. I adored him as a friend, but I found out after I moved away (without telling him I was leaving) that he'd been in love with me. I had no idea. Made for a great story premise, though.

What kind of books do you enjoy reading?
My favorite genre is historical romance, but I love Women's fiction with a heavy romance thread, too. Two excellent books I've read lately were Play it Again by Tracy Krauss, and The Visionary by Pamela S. Thibodeaux. Neither is historical fiction, but both were excellent and exactly what I love in a contemporary novel.

If you were a style of music, what style would you be?
I adore Christian alternative rock. The louder the better, but with minimal screaming please.

What is your strangest habit?
I drink coffee every day, but that's not very strange. I do love to collect tee shirts with my book covers on them. I recently made one that says, "I write for coffee" and has all of the titles of my first twelve books on it with their release dates. That's a bit odd, I suppose.

Are there things you put off doing because you dread them?
Not that I can think of.

What's your favorite meal with family and friends? I love to buy my food. My husband is an excellent cook, though. I'd rather be reading or writing.

Share a verse or Scripture passage with us that is special to you.
Romans 8 11:13 - I love this scripture because that is what made everything click in my heart for me. I understood what I was missing was the power of the same Jesus that raised from the dead living in me. That was spiritual rebirth. Anything short of that is head knowledge.

When is your next book due out and can you tell us about it?
I've got bunches releasing. My next one that officially releases (after this one) will be the story that is the third in my Sacred Vows series. I'm not done writing it, but I think it will be the best of the three. For people who are tracking the couples James and Hope, and Tony and Brenda, they will love this third installment that will conclude the series. It has some major surprises in it.

I look forward to seeing that one!

Just to set the record straight.

You don't have to like coffee to appreciate Michelle's writing!

Love coffee here too. What a clever idea for a t-shirt with the names of your books on it and the release date. That is quite a statement! Thanks for the opportunity of entering me for "When Love Collides". Sounds like a great book.

Blessings,
Jo
